TE 404 - Capstone for Lower Elem and Upper Elem
Plan, apply, and reflect upon research-based effective teaching practices, including interdisciplinary approaches to teaching literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies through the visual and performing arts, movement and physical activity. Emphasis is on analyzing impact of teaching practices on students’ learning. Concurrent with internship.
Requisites: Internship in Lower Elementary and/or Upper Elementary Education (Required, Concurrent). Completion of all professional studies courses in Lower Elementary (PK-3) including TE 345 , TE 355 , TE 365 , and all literacy methods courses or Upper Elementary (3-6) Education including TE 347 , TE 357 , TE 367 , and all literacy methods courses (Required, Previous).
