TE 357 - Science Methods 3 - 6 An introduction to a variety of teaching practices and strategies for planning, implementing, and assessing science instruction in ways that engage all 3 through 6 grade students in learning. Teaching science will be addressed in ways that promote problem solving and inquiry, use technologies appropriately and strategically, foster the home-school connection, acknowledge diversity and differentiation, use assessment for data-driven decision making, examine curricular expectations, develop productive dispositions, and apply classroom management techniques. Fieldwork is required.
