Gerontology Minor/Certificate

A minor in gerontology is available to Health Science and other majors who earn a total of 22-23 credits. Courses must be completed in at least 4 disciplines. Credits taken for the gerontology minor cannot also be used toward the 20 credit Elective requirement for the Health Science major.
A certificate in gerontology is available for non-matriculated students who complete gerontology minor requirements that meet the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) standards.
