A minor is required.
Students wishing to major in Chemistry may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of all basic skills, MATH 161, CHEM 230 and CHEM 231, with grades of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation as a Chemistry or Chemistry (ACS) major.
