TE 453 - Internship for B-K/Speciality Area


Intern teaching involves full-time teaching and involvement in two educational settings: 12 weeks in an Early Childhood Special Education program or in a publicly funded preschool and 4 weeks in a specialty area (World Languages, ESL). Candidates seeking a specialty endorsement must be placed in an education environment supporting the endorsement. Intern teaching, the Early Childhood Capstone (TE 389 ) and Clinical Seminar (TE 451 ) are integrated and blocked together in order to combine the practice of teaching with frequent opportunities to reflect critically and analytically on teaching and learning. 

Requisites: TE 389  and TE 451   (Required, Concurrent).
