Interdisciplinary major, no minor is required. Biology and chemistry minors may not be earned with this major.
Students wishing to major in Biochemistry may declare their intent at any time.

Major Required Courses (63 cr)
As an optional addition to the major required courses, students can choose to pursue the Environmental Specialization by completing the corresponding coursework outlined below. Chemistry electives in these categories would count towards the elective requirements for the regular Biochemistry degree. A biochemistry minor is not available. Electives (3-4 cr)

In addition to the above-listed foundation and major courses, students choosing to pursue the optional Environmental Specialization should complete 9 credits from the following courses. |
