Ascend Leadership Academy

The Ascend Leadership Program seeks to prepare educational leaders for School Leadership through a cohort-based online learning program that will ensure that candidates who complete this program demonstrate;

• A thorough understanding of the Professional Standards for School Leaders
• Ability to lead staff and stakeholders in creating, implementing and sustaining a shared vision of educational success.
• Professional knowledge and skills in facilitating school improvement and academic success for all students through a lens of equity, cultural responsiveness, inclusion and belonging.
• Knowledge and skills in creating and sustaining a postive school culture and positive learning environment for all stakeholders.
• Effective management and equitable allocation of human, fiscal, and technological resources for student success and the professional growth of staff.
• Ethical leadership that is data-driven, evidence-based, fair and just, and supports the success of all students.
