Students wishing to major in Mathematics may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of MATH 161 with a grade of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation as a Mathematics major.
Six additional 300-400 level credits in mathematics.
Additional Requirements
A mathematics competency exam is required to be taken in the Senior year. Students should contact the department for information concerning testing times.
One computer science course involving a structured programming language suitable for mathematics (3 credits required).
