Interdisciplinary major, no minor is required. Biology and chemistry minors may not be earned with this major.
Students wishing to major in Biochemistry may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of all basic skills , CHEM 230 , CHEM 231 , BIOL 111A and either BIOL 111B or BIOL 111C with grades of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation as a Biochemistry major.
