ECON 412 - Business Data Analytics


Credits: 4

This applied course will provide students with knowledge to help organizations make data-driven decisions.  Students will learn the statistical tools commonly used to process, analyze, and visualize data to evaluate business risks and opportunities. Topics may include data description and visualization, statistical inference, regression, and machine learning methods.  These topics are explored using a statistical package, with a focus on understanding how to use and interpret output from software as well as how to visualize results.

Requisites: ECON 335  (Required, Previous).
