HS 475 - Issues in International Health This course covers a breadth of current issues in international health with a focus on population and community health. Students explore foundational topics such as major determinants of health inequities within and between countries and multi-directional links between health, social, cultural, economic and cultural factors in a global context before examining specific health topics of global concern including environmental health, nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, child health and communicable diseases including HIV/AIDS.
Requisites: HS 340 . (Required, Previous).
