HS 340 - Principles of Public Health An introduction to public health concepts and practices with emphasis on the philosophy, purpose, organization, functions, tools activities and results of public health practices at the national, state, and local levels. The core foundations of public health including biostatistics; epidemiology; environmental and occupational health; behavioral health; health policy and administration; maternal and child health and ethics are also addressed.
Requisites: Junior or senior standing or instructor permission. (Required, Previous).
