PSYC 317 - Educational Psychology Students are introduced to the major principles of laboratory learning as applied to conceptual learning, problem solving and the development of emotional behavior, attitudes, values and acquisition of skills. The major variables affecting efficiency of learning in the school learning-teaching situation will be studied. Instructional techniques based on psychological principles affecting motivation, learning, retention and transfer, as well as techniques for the measurement of student abilities and achievement will be studied.
Requisites: PSYC 100 (Required, Previous). TEMS 334 (Required, Concurrent) or instructor permission.
