NURS 377 - Nursing Care of Populations

Focus on community, family, and public health, as well as epidemiology. A community assessment project will be completed, as well as use of simulated public and home health clinical practice. Social, political, and economic issues regarding the health of populations will be explored. Concepts will include clinical reasoning, advocacy, teaching/learning, health surveillance, violence, and disaster. Professional writing and use of evidence will be emphasized.

Requisites: NURS 301 (Required, Previous).
