The Jazz Studies Minor offers current music students a more focused study of jazz repertoire, style, and improvisation.
Admission Requirements
Music or Music Education Major. Non-music majors may add the minor with permission of the Jazz Director.

Applied Lessons & Ensembles (6 Credits)
2 credits each of applied jazz lessons, jazz ensemble, and jazz combos Jazz Courses (15 credits)
Coursework in jazz history, improvisation, pedagogy, and composition. |
