Master in Health Administration/Master of Public Health MHA/MPH Dual Graduate Program

The MHA/MPH Dual Graduate Program provides students with the opportunity to complete two graduate degrees concurrently in three academic years. 

The Master in Health Administration (“MHA”) provides preparation for students pursuing a career in administration of health or human services organizations. The program includes theoretical and experiential learning opportunities. Core courses provide a sound foundation in health and organizational management leadership.

The Master of Public Health (“MPH”) Program will provide students with a sound academic background to practice competently as a generalist in public health. Students will complete coursework to attain requisite depth and breadth in the five core areas of public health knowledge including biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health sciences, public health services and social and behavioral sciences.

Admission Requirements:

  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  2. A completed graduate application, including:
    1. Official copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
    2. Resume which includes education, employment, scholarship, and service.
    3. One or two page statement of academic and career goals.
    4. One letter of recommendation, preferably from educators or employers. 
  3. International students must complete the international application for student admission, including all items listed above as well as:
    1. Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. The Program accepts a score of 92 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL-IBT), 7.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or a passing score on an alternative test as determined by the College.
