Graduate Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Certificate

The Graduate Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Certificate prepares students to complete the Health Care Compliance Association’s Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) examination (to attain CHC recognition). The Graduate Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Certificate includes five courses (a total of 15 credits).To qualify for the CHC examination, students who have not completed SVSU’s Graduate Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Certificate must have at least one year in a full-time compliance position or 1,500 hours of direct compliance job duties earned in the last two years preceding their certification exam application.

Admission Requirements

• Completed Application for admission to the Graduate Healthcare Ethics and Compliance Certificate Program
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with official transcript
• Statement of Intent- Applicants are required to submit a 300-word statement of intent outlining how the certificate program will help them meet their academic and professional goals.
• One letter of recommendation preferably from educators or employers
