A minor is required.

Requirements for the Psychology Major (For students admitted Fall 2011 and after). A Psychology Major requires 43 credits in psychology and completion of the Foundation courses and the required Psychology courses below.

Foundation Courses (8 cr)

These required 8 credits do not apply to 43 credit psychology requirement.

MATH 103 - Intermediate Algebra 4 cr

One course from:

BIOL 104B - Human Biology (GE4) 3 cr
BIOL 105A - Science of Life (GE4) 4 cr
BIOL 111A - Principles of Experimental Biol: Biology (GE4) 4 cr
or Students may enroll in the following TWO courses:
BIOL 181 - Intro to Ecology, Evolution, Diversity 3 cr
and
BIOL 182 - Intro to Cell and Molecular Biology 3 cr
(Note: The above TWO course sequence (BIOL 181 & BIOL 182) is REQUIRED for Psychology Majors seeking a Psychological Biology Minor, but can also be applied to Psychology Majors earning other minors.)
