This program is restricted to students seeking teacher certification in physics. A certification minor is optional. The student may complete a minor in chemistry and a minor in mathematics by electing 10 additional credits Chemistry (courses must be numbered 111 or higher) and completing MATH 300, MATH 302, MATH 304, and MATH 471.
The Physics major is available to students desiring to teach at the middle (grades 5 to 9) or high school level (grades 7 to 12). It requires a double major with one of the education majors described in the College of Education section.
