Along with Study Abroad opportunities, the objective of this interdisciplinary major is to provide students with an understanding of the world through its varied cultures, customs, languages, and traditions. Courses in this major are taken from the following departments within the College of Arts and Behavioral Sciences and the College of Business and Management: Accounting, Law and Finance, Art, Communication, Criminal Justice, Economics, English, Geography, History, Management and Marketing, Modern Foreign Languages, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Rhetoric and Professional Writing, and Sociology. This major prepares students for graduate work or for work in a variety of areas within the increasingly interdependent world. Students select one of three emphases: 1) Asian Studies or 2) European Studies or 3) Latin American Studies. A minor is required.
