Spanish for Health Professions Minor

The Spanish for Health Professions Minor prepares health professionals to communicate with Spanish speakers. The program emphasizes the development of communication skills, cultural competence, and practical experience through coursework and field experience.
 

18 credits in Spanish are required in courses numbered 211 or higher. Students whose Spanish proficiency is beyond SPAN 211  and SPAN 212  will take all their courses at the 300-400 levels; such students will not receive credit for SPAN 211  and SPAN 212 .
