Integrated Science, grades 6-12 Major (B.S.)

No minor is required.

An Integrated Science major is available to students desiring to teach at the secondary level. It requires completion of the 66-hour major described below, and completion of professional development courses described in the Secondary Teaching Certification catalog entry.

MTTC Subject-area Test: Candidates who wish to teach Integrated Science in grades 6-12 must take and pass the MTTC Integrated Science (Secondary) subject-area test. Please list SVSU (institution code# 24) when registering to take the subject-area test to ensure that an electronic score report is sent to the SVSU College of Education.
