This degree is designed for students who wish to be fully prepared professionals in the visual arts. The degree also prepares students who wish to continue into a graduate program. Students are required to declare one area of concentration from the following: ceramics, drawing and painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking or sculpture. Students are required to present their portfolios and artist statement upon completion of the core and foundation requirements and apply to the program in order to be admitted into the BFA program. Graduating students will be required to successfully complete BFA exhibition and BFA Oral review.

The following advanced courses may be taken more than once for credit. All other 300-400 level art courses not listed below may be taken only once for credit unless approved by the instructor and the chair of the Art Department.
