Cybersecurity Minor

Students completing the Cybersecurity Minor Program will be prepared to enter the field of cybersecurity in a public or private environment as computer security technicians, Internet security analysts, and computer forensics analysts. Individuals currently working in this or a related field will substantially enhance their knowledge and skills.

Cyber Security Requirements (16 cr)

These courses are core CS courses. Cybersecurity minor students need to take all these courses.

CS 232 - Cybersecurity System Administration 4 cr
CS 233 - Cybercrime, Technolog. & Countermeasures 4 cr
CS 333 - Computer Forensics 4 cr
CS 433 - Cybersecurity 4 cr

Criminal Justice Requirement (3 cr)

CJ 315 - Private Security 3 cr
