The Post-Graduate Certificate in Nursing Administration is provided primarily with hybrid courses designed for nurses who already have a graduate degree in nursing in another concentration, such as nurse practitioner, nurse educator, or Clinical Nurse Leader. This certificate consists of 24 credits taken over 1½ or 2 years. Depending on previous nursing graduate education some of the required courses may be waived, however, a maximum of 12 equivalent graduate level credits may be transferred.

Two approved electives for a total of 6 cr. The list of approved electives is available from the Graduate Nursing adviser.

Admission Requirements

  • MSN from an accredited program
  • Current Michigan RN License
