(15-16 credits required)

The SVSU minor in entrepreneurship is founded on the understanding that there is a common process for the creation of new ventures.

The minor teaches students in the College of Business the necessary skills to be an entrepreneur in a variety of settings from startups to leading new venture projects within existing companies.

The skills of developing a new venture, whether a completely new organization or a new project within an established business, are highly sought after in the job market.

Students who pursue the minor are creative and motivated, looking for ways to apply the knowledge they’ve gained from their major hands-on to an entrepreneurial endeavor.

The program consists of three core classes and an elective.
