A minor is required.
Students wishing to major in Chemistry may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of all basic skills , MATH 161 , CHEM 230 and CHEM 231 , with grades of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation as a Chemistry or Chemistry (ACS) major.
