A minor outside the department is required.
The Bachelor of Arts in Geography (39 cr) offers comprehensive training in Human Geography (social science), Physical Geography (earth science), Geographic Information Systems, and other analytical and research techniques. Students will be prepared for careers with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses, as well as for graduate studies.
Notes:
No more than 9 credit hours of Geography study abroad or field courses can be applied to the major.
One CI course must be taken outside of the Geography Department
