Required Basic Courses (6 cr)

• CJ 100 - Criminal Justice Skills for Success 3 cr
• CJ 201! - Intro to Criminal Justice (GE7) 3 cr

Required Systems Courses (6 cr)

Majors must take at least 2 courses from:

• CJ 302 - Policing 3 cr
• CJ 303 - Criminal Courts 3 cr
• CJ 304 - Corrections 3 cr
• CJ 315 - Private Security 3 cr

Required Courses (9 cr)

Majors must take at least 1 course from each of the following three areas:

Required Capstone (3 cr)

• CJ 491 - Senior Seminar in Criminal Justice 3 cr

Electives (15 cr)

Students are encouraged to take electives in their specific areas of interest. Electives can be any of the CJ courses which are not required or any of the required courses listed above that you are NOT counting toward the hours needed to fulfill the requirements in that category.
