Communication (B.A.)

At least 15 credits of the major in communication must be in upper division courses (300-400 level). A minor is required.

In order to major in communication, students must complete 9 credits of coursework in communication at SVSU and earn a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in those courses. Once that has been accomplished, students may declare a major in communication. Courses transferred from other institutions may be applied to the communication major but not to the standard for getting admitted to the major.
