A minor is required.
Students wishing to major in Applied Mathematics may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of MATH 161 with a grade of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation as an Applied Mathematics major.

Required Electives (9 cr)
Additional Requirements (3-4 credits)
A mathematics competency exam, to be taken in the Senior year, is required. Students should contact the department for information on testing times.
