The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers majors in mathematics, mathematics for secondary teaching, and applied mathematics.
Students wishing to major in any of the programs offered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences (Math, Applied Math, Mathematics for Teacher Education) may declare their intent at any time. Upon completion of MATH 161 with a grade of “C” or better, students in good academic standing can electronically request designation of their intended major.
