The College of Arts and Behavioral Sciences is the largest college of the University. It offers courses to students in all colleges to fulfill their general education requirements and programs leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.), and Master of Arts (M.A.). Students may select majors and minors from 15 different fields and interdisciplinary minors in the fields of gender studies and youth services. In conjunction with the College of Education, it offers instruction in the arts and behavioral sciences for students pursuing certification in teaching or the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree in these disciplines.
