This course examines the full scope of the African Diaspora including topics such as race relations models, the construction of race, systems of slavery, colonialism, and segregation, resistance, anti-colonialism, liberation, nationalism, Pan-Africanism, Afrocentrism, Black Feminism, institutions, politics and culture.
