BIOL 497F - Field Botany

Classification, identification, and nomenclature of plant families, with emphasis on regional flora. The laboratory consists primarily of plant identification, with numerous field trips to local areas to identify plants and plant families. (3-3)

Requisites: BIOL 211 and BIOL 291 (Previous, Required). BIOL 323, BIOL 331, BIOL 352, BIOL 360, BIOL 370, or BIOL 380 (Previous, Required).
