HIST 455 - Methods of Teaching Soc. Studies 7-12

This course is designed for students interested in teaching high school social studies (grades 7-12).  This course prepares students to design and implement social studies lesson plans, provide culturally responsive and inclusive instruction, instructs in assessment strategies, enhances content knowledge, and prepares students to apply this knowledge teaching social studies in high school.

Requisites: TEMS 334  or TEMS 434  (Required, Concurrent)

Credits:3 cr
