KINE 301 - Function, Fitness, Wellness-PE/Health This course is designed to introduce physical education/health education students to the basic principles of kinesiology, biomechanics, human development and motor learning, and exercise physiology as it relates to health and physical education programing. Students will receive instruction in physiological and biomechanical concepts related to skillful movement and motor patterns, physical activity, and fitness with a focus on practical application to the K-12 population. Students will also learn to plan and facilitates skill development and application of functional health and physical activity programming for all K-12 learner within a school and community setting.
