PSYC 315 - Adolescent Psychology


This course focuses on development through the teenage years. Topics include the biological aspects (such as brain development and puberty), cognitive abilities (such as abstract thought and problem solving), intrapersonal development (such as personality and various aspects of identity), and interpersonal development (including family and peer relationships). Special focus is given to mental health. Coverage is based on scientific theory and current research findings.

Requisites: PSYC 100  (Required, Previous).
