MLS 460 - Principles of Laboratory Operations Introductory course in the principles and techniques of quality assurance and improvement as applied in all phases of laboratory services including the pre-analytical and post analytical components. Students investigate professional roles, responsibilities, problem solving and conflict resolution techniques as related to leadership and laboratory administration as well as human resources, education, information and financial management issues and planning. Requisites: Admission to Medical Laboratory Science Major (B.S.) program (Required, Previous).
