HIST 381 - Historical Geography of Latin America Historical Geography of Latin America This course examines Latin America from both spatial and historical perspectives while focusing on economic, political, demographic, and cultural linkages through time and space. Topics include pre-Columbian settlement, colonization, the slave trade, economic development, political (r)evolutions, human impact on the landscape, population growth, migration, and urbanization.
