FIN 307 - Real Estate Finance


Real estate finance is a multifaceted field that encompasses various disciplines including property law, mortgage underwriting, mortgage insurance programs, financial analysis, and investment principles. Students learn the mechanics of mortgages, real estate financing, and the legal frameworks surrounding them. Through an analytical and quantitative approach, students practice borrower analysis, property evaluation, and the institutional instruments integral to real estate finance.

Requisites: ECON 222  (previous, required), FIN 301  (previous, required), junior standing.
