MUSE 310 - Teaching Marching Band
This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to successfully run a high school marching band program. Topics to be covered include: marching brass, marching percussion, color guard, show planning, drill design, rehearsal techniques, student leadership, recruiting, band camp, and band boosters. Students will use industry standard software to design and chart a marching band show.
Requisites: Must be a Music Education Major (B.A.) or instructor permission.
