MUS 215 - Introduction to Improvisation

This course introduces musical improvisation in performance and pedagogy. Drawing from current research on music education, creativity, and improvisation, we will explore a variety of strategies for improvisation in individual and group contexts and how to teach them.

Requisites: MUS 111  and MUS 111A  (Required, Previous).
