TE 389 - Early Childhood Capstone
The Early Childhood Capstone includes a supervised, successful teaching internship experience in early childhood setting(s). Family involvement, community collaboration, and staff communication as an instructional team are emphasized. Guidance and management techniques for the young child are explored, implemented, and evaluated. Capstone meetings provide opportunities for analysis, evaluation, and discussion of these early childhood internship teaching experiences. This course is required for undergraduate students seeking the Early Childhood (Birth-Kindergarten) grade band.
Requisites: Completion of all professional studies courses in the candidate’s selected grade band/endorsement (Required, Previous).
