KINE 430 - Sport Health and Safety The purpose of this course is to provide students with an overview of sport health and safety principles and sport First Aid/CPR. Students will examine the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize and manage emergent situations and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses for children and adults. Students have the opportunity to obtain certifications in child and adult CPR, AED, Basic First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens training from a reputable certification body.
Requisites: Junior standing or instructor permission (Required, Previous).
