NURS 377 - Foundations in Population Health

Focus on community, public health, promotion of health, disease prevention, and epidemiology. Social, political, and economic issues regarding the health of populations will be explored. Professional writing and use of evidence will be emphasized. Concepts and threads include clinical reasoning, advocacy, teaching/learning, health surveillance, violence, and disaster.

Requisites: NURS 301  (Required, Previous).

Credits:3 cr
