ME 356 - Fluid Mechanics Engineering applications, experiments, and design involving viscosity, statics (manometers, forces on submerged surfaces), kinematics, Bernoulli equations, conservation equations (mass, momentum, energy), dimensional analysis, the boundary layer and separation, duct flow, drag/lift forces, turbomachinery and flow measurement. (3-3)
Requisites: MATH 262 , ME 252 ; or one or both concurrently. Mechanical Engineering Major (Required, Previous).
