FIN 302 - Investment Analysis

Focuses on basic concepts relating to security analysis, available investments, and portfolio management. Risk and selection are studied in conjunction with market analysis and investment timing. Ethics for investment professionals, as well as environmental, social, and governance factors are explored. Course will include substantial use of technology, including experience with the Bloomberg terminals and the opportunity to earn professional certifications.

Requisites: ECON 222  (previous, required), FIN 304  (previous, required), junior standing.

Credits:4 cr
