PSYC 420 - Psychology of Language This course will introduce the student to psycholinguistics, including theories of language acquisition, the biological underpinnings of language, issues of speech production and comprehension, pragmatics and conversational speech, and word/concept representations. Discussion of these topics will include cross-cultural and cross-linguistic differences in languages. This course will focus on how language and the words we use reflect underlying thought processes.
Requisites: PSYC 100. (Required, Previous).
