TE 516 - Evidence-based Practices I This course focuses on instruction/intervention procedures for which researchers have provided an acceptable level of research showing the practice produces positive outcomes for learners. Students learn to use assessment data (e.g., Functional Behavior Assessment) to select, develop and implement evidence-based practices within educational and clinical settings. Students are expected to read professional literature, participate in discussions, conduct literature research, and begin to implement evidence-based practices.
Requisites: TE 503 (ASD or Grad Cert only) (Required, Previous or concurrent).
